In the past, the Brett Family Foundation has accepted proposals in two general grant cycles: March and September. Starting in 2006, we have now separated the cycles by program area. The March cycle is devoted entirely to Social Justice grants, while the September cycle is dedicated to Direct Services in Boulder County. This change allows us to concentrate on each of the areas separately, enabling us to make more targeted and effective grants.

Social Justice Cycle Deadlines, 2008:

January 15, 2008
Letters of Inquiry are due for first time applicants, including organizations that have not previously received a grant from BFF or that have been denied funding in previous years.

March 1, 2008
Full proposals are due from solicited organizations and past grantees.

Direct Services Cycle Deadlines, 2008:

July 15, 2008
Letters of Inquiry are due for first time applicants.

September 1, 2008*
Full proposals are due from solicited organizations and past grantees.

*All letters and proposals must be postmarked or hand-delivered to our office by 5:00pm. Hand-delivered proposals must be received by 5:00pm on the last business day before the deadline if the deadline falls on a weekend.
